About Me
Caroline Reilly is a graduate of the University of Tampa, and a freelance designer, photographer, and videographer. She is currently a graduate student in Instructional Design and Technology at the University of Tampa, she plans to graduate in December 2022. She began her Instructional Design work with Axogen in 2022 and learned hands-on how to create learning modules using Articulate Rise and more heavily in Storyline, going through the whole process of the ADDIE model. Then at Bloomin' Brands, she learned how an Instructional Designer would wear multiple hats and have to learn how a larger company has to prioritize quality and quantity while creating pieces of training in Rise for employees in restaurants to everyone at the restaurant resource center.
She began professionally designing in 2018 and has created graphic design work for companies, as well as helping to produce and manage YouTube channels. The core of Caroline's art is derived from some of the whimsical and child-like fun that she feels when it comes to creating from her imagination. Caroline's artistic philosophy is that she believes anyone can be creative and create something unique. From personal experience, she knows that she was not the best drawer, and when first using Adobe products she struggled constantly; but with practice, she became a designer.
Caroline graduated from the University of Tampa with a degree in Digital Arts in 2018. In March of 2018 she was a photographer for the Tampa Museum of Art GASP 2018 and took photos, and videos of the performance art Crane Wives. During the summer of 2018, she also volunteered her time to work at Elite Animation Academy to help teach children ranging from ages 8-18 how to improve their art skills as well as teach them how to use the Adobe Suite. She was also a photographer during the Holocaust Remembrance Day that took place in January 2019.
For her, it does not matter if someone says they are not creative, if given the time and help they can create art. In some of her art, she hides a moon, in the shape of a full moon, a crescent moon, or some phase of the moon. This is because it is like the light at the end of the tunnel that helps her to see that the work is almost done with a hard problem or project. It is also her nod to Disney’s hidden Mickey. Caroline wants her art to be able to tell stories and create new experiences for people to have. If Caroline can also change one person’s opinion about something with one artwork, then everything would be worth it.
Currently, Caroline is working on editing photos for a client, as well as creating websites, and game projects. Caroline Reilly lives in Tampa, Florida.
